Ok. I was reading htis book of terms and words and all that boring junk, and I found something.
Dalek-in science fiction, a member of a race of hostile alien machine-0rganisms which appeared in the BBC television serial Doctor Who from 1963; they are mechanical utterance, and their catch phrase catch phrase, 'Enterminate! Exterminate!' The name is an invented word, coined by the author Terry Nation after a volume of an encyclopedia civering the alphabetical sequence dal-lek.
So there it is. Also, my mom LOVES Doctor Who and thinks he is HOT.
